How can they not be? People are appalled at the treatment as it is. Children are being abused, physically and sexually, and worse, some are dying while in the “care” of US authorities.

Blood is on the hands of everyone involved in trump’s border policy. He said he wanted to inflict pain as a deterrent.
The BP had hours during which they could have looked after that girl. They chose not to until it was too late.
There are no excuses that will fly for this. None.

Border Patrol also apparently empties the bottles of water people stash for migrants in the desert when they find them. What happened to that child is murder of one form or another.

In a sane and compassionate world (you know, the one trump killed) Neilsen and trump, along with every Border Patrol agent involved in this would be charged with child abuse. Further Neilsen and trump would be indicted for some sort of gross negligence. I am not a lawyer but someone clearly needs to be arrested. The child’d body temperature was reported to be 105 degrees. Clearly she was ill and the BP did not notice??? Or care??? She should have been immediately cared for. Instead they lolly gagged for 8 hours before acting. It took the child going into seizures for them to fucking act!!
As I said there is no excuse for this. Not in America.
