Wow, that’s just so amazing to me. I love this - thank you!
What town?
It was sort of fun, we both felt we were on an Easter egg hunt. May do some more during coffee tomorrow.
Hey folks… The key word is…
MOBILE
And I also mean… it is a 21st century digital world.
And I’m 72 years young.
You’re welcome…

Back in the day I was an active campaign worker we always said signs don’t vote. But they do show strength of support.
My impression is that it helps to have enough signs up to let people in the neighborhood know that it is ok to vote for your candidate.
The GOP voters just got a big shock learning that not everyone agrees with them.
San Antonio
My niece is home in Alaska for a visit from her new home in Austin. She is not political at all and didn’t know who Beto was but she says his signs are everywhere by the hundreds as she drives in from suburbia to work each morning.
Just before Christmas last year I was in Miami Beach on business (yeah, I know, but it actually is true!). On the last day of the meeting, a couple of us wandered over to the beach to actually stick our toes in the water and there were these boats with huge LED billboards on them for, oh, surfboards or whatever, that were patrolling about 100 yds or so off the beach. I googled and found some pics – here’s one!
I should note here that I am NOT happy about this – if I go to the beach, I wanna look at water, not adverts.
What’s next? Aerial signs at football games? I hope so, the timing would be right.
Next? Gigantic orbiting Trojans space boards reminding lovers to be careful. Huge LED track mounted battle field billboards with foxy women selling beer. Traditional old style roadside signs for the long lines of refugees.
I envy her. Alaska would be a nice switch up from Texas right now.
I have no idea how things will turn out, but for the moment, Beto is literally changing the landscape.
I hope the negative message pops graphically. Otherwise it’s just a billboard with trump’s face on it.
When I was in Austin last month Beto signs were everywhere. But it was Austin.
I think putting these old Trump tweets about Cruz on billboards is a great idea and I hope they do a lot of them.
The Trumpers will of course say “ha ha ha that means nothing. He was just campaigning.” But he’s also “just campaigning” now. So what should we really believe…
And they make Cruz look like the bootlicker he is. So that’s a plus.
boy howdy that’s obnoxious
this from the same state that won’t allow precious oil platforms to mar the view
Yeah, they need to reformat the tweet. It looks like it parks places for a while, hopefully that’s the case.
This sounds just like the Birmingham scene last fall, when there were SO many Doug Jones signs, and Roy Moore signs could only be found in the sticks. Sure, there had to have been Moore voters around, but they didn’t seem to want to own up to it. And in the end, Jones prevailed!!
I dunno, seeing Trump attack Cruz only makes me wonder if Cruz has some positive qualities I may have missed. But then, I’m not a Texan, so maybe I won’t understand.
