They written revisionist history and have hurled invectives. Perhaps if you actually read my posts, you could learn something, too.

Candidates give back money all the time if the persons responsible end up saying or engaging in something they are opposed to. At the very least Hillary needs to speak out about them. But she hasn’t. So, my point is proved.

Sigh I have offered facts and historical references. Responders to me, largely, have not. Again, making a personal attack by saying I’m reveling in trite ideas and luxuriating in my hate of all things Clinton is not a fact on your part. Nor is is a counter argument of any substance to anything I’ve said. Nor does it hurt my feelings.
I know that history and the facts are on my side on this. But the best you can offer is invectives and condescension. What a life you have.

It has been barely two days since they hosted Cruz and just a little over 24 hours since the Facebook page went up, denouncing Hilary for failing to have already commented on situation that seems to just be starting to take off seems rather hasty.
As for the rest, I suppose it depends on what one means by responsible. Are they responsible for the money that other people give at an event they hosted or are the people giving the money responsible? Should the people that attended an event hosted by an openly gay man for a candidate that supports gay right have the donations that they gave to said candidate in good faith rejected because that openly gay man latter host another even for a different candidate who doesn’t support gay right?

the timing of this boycott is perfect, too… since it’s now time to reserve those hamptons/fire island rooms… although i suspect these a-holes won’t have any real problem filling the cancelled reservations. but i hope it’s with drunken, room destroying frat boyz who aren’t their usual clientele.

Well DUH!!! What did these dickheads expect was going to happen, especially in a city like New York, which is a lot different than two rich gay guys having a lovefest with Teddy in Pocatello, Idaho.
Ted Cruz is a vile homophobe, using gay people as scapegoats to further his political career. Any gay business owners who suck up to someone like Cruz - and especially using that lame-ass “we support his foreign policy views” bullshit - deserve all the hurt they can get from their gay customers base and its allies in the straight world.

The fact they couldn’t see that coming from a mile away, and instead smiled and posed for pictures with McCarthy-lite Cruz, demonstrates either their political naivete or their soulless quest for some attention and money.

sorry but I’m calling bullshit… people have opinions and run businesses… Cruz’s staff came and wanted a service from this business… I would assume he didn’t ask the owners or managers to offer their opinion of him or his positions…
allowing him to use their business doesn’t imply anything other than a business decision… if they’d turned him down its just as bad as when the florist, cake baker or pizza maker decide they can’t provide service to a gay wedding…
and yes I see the picture of the owner smiling with Ted but he’s entitled to his opinion…
I honestly don’t get Log Cabin Republicans but they make their choices and live with them…
you can boycott their business if you want want but I just think its their business decision…
