Pretty stupid idea. All it would accomplish is that any North Korean citizen caught with such a DVD would be either executed on the spot or at the least thrown into one of the many concentration camps the regime maintains for its citizens. Yes. Pretty stupid idea. Aside from the fact that from every review I have read, the movie really sucks.

yes, exactly what I was going to write. This guy is going to get some poor sap thrown in a North Korean gulag because it happened to land on his property.

Are citizens in N. Korea even allowed to own DVD players? That’s quite the capitalist, western technology, and it’s existence in N. Korea could be interpreted as an afront on Dear Leader’s care for his people. Dear Leader must control everything his children see, and read, and do, and think. DVDs are freedom in disguise as worthless crap.
