Discussion: Activist Associated With DeSantis Posts Aggressively Racist Tweet About Obama

So the campaign is going to return any donations by this guy, right? /s

IT’s just SHORT HAND FOR ā€œblack PEOPLEā€. YOU only get so many CHARACTERS in a tweet and HE needed the extra to GET his point across. GEESH.

Alembik told Politico he was angry when he posted the tweet and suggested he was not racist and would never say the n-word in public.

Just in private. And after taking Ambien, of course.

But remember, DEMOCRATS are the real racists for calling it out. And because of the KKK.

I’m actually going to use Alembik’s excuse about being ā€œemotionalā€ in my class today. I’m a communication professor, and, as it turns out, I’m giving a lecture on deliberation and ethics today. In my lecture, I want to explain that it’s okay to be passionate in deliberation, even if that means getting pissed off. But, ethical deliberation fundamentally requires respect; no matter one’s passion, dehumanizing another person signals a gross lack of respect. And, respect is a reciprocal process–no one is obligated to respect someone who dehumanizes them.

OTOH, I do wish that there were fewer examples like this in our contemporary public discourse.

DeSantis’s campaign was quick to condemn Alembik’s tweet.

NOTE: The check has already cleared

ā€œWhen I write anything inflammatory, it’s because I’m seriously pissed off,ā€ he told Politico. ā€œI’m an emotionally unhinged human being. Do I have a filter on what I say? In public, yes. Would I use that word in public? No. This is Twitter. And I am a fucking coward.ā€

FIFY, Steve.

ā€œWe no longer use the N-word; we say ā€˜monkey’ instead. It provides plausible deniability and our supporters know what we mean,ā€ he added.

Alembik- what kind of name is that?

Alembik to old to change and too dumb to be let out in public.

Post it on twitter yeah, but sy in public…never. These dickheads say the stupidest shit. I don’t understand how they get so far, moneywise, in life. They just seem like complete idiots.

The the description of Alembik under the Ripoff Report

ā€œA Shister named Steve Alembik is atrocious, incompetent, and deficientā€¦ā€

This part brought me to a similar thought:

While he said he understood why the campaign may need to distance itself from him, he also bragged that he had more pictures with DeSantis ā€œthan I have with my kids.ā€

It is hard to be better at selecting allies - if they act/think/speak just like you.

A couple of points here: if you get so ā€œseriously pissed offā€ that you cannot control yourself and your verbal and written outbursts, then you probably need professional help. Side note, nobody wants to be around you, because you’re an embarrassing asshat.

Second point: you’re not fooling anyone. You’re a bottom of the barrel, racist jerkwad. Evolution apparently passed you by.

Third point: if you’re really so ignorant that you don’t know Twitter IS public…surprise! It is.

Last point: Obama is a million times better man and person than you could ever dream of being. Best president of my lifetime.

67-year-old man says the world has changed in 67 years (shock!) but he hasn’t:

ā€œSo somebody like Chris Rock can get up onstage and use the word and there’s no problem? But some white guy says it and he’s a racist? Really?ā€ the 67-year-old Alembik said, noting that what’s considered racially charged language now wasn’t racist when he was a kid. ā€œI grew up in New York in the ā€˜50s. We were the k----. They were the n------. They were the goyim. And those were the s----.ā€

Has anyone explained to racist IT genius here what Twitter is?

This explains a lot, At least this typical Republican doesn’t think posting on Twitter is the same as saying something in public. Somebody ought to tell him he is right. Twitter is far more permanent and public than anything you might say in the Publix parking lot.

This is the fifth time DeSantis or someone affiliated with his campaign has been embroiled in a race-related issue.

Maybe DeSantis is a racist and so are his white nationalist supporters? Just sayin.

I’ll just let this speak for itself.

Oh, he’s not racist. He just didn’t comprehend the meaning and offensiveness of his words due to his youth.

I don’t know how New York was, but I am 5 years younger than this mofo and I grew up in Chicago, and if I ever said words like n----- or k—, my mother would have slapped my face and washed by mouth out with Purex detergent and Clorox bleach.
