He’s under a tremendous amount of stress, (or he’s just an asshole) and can’t seem to handle the situation. That’s a recipe for disaster.

What’s astonishing is even much of the libertarian crowd on RedState itself are calling out this kind of police overreach. There is little I agree with libertarians and conservatives about, but it looks like concerns over the ever-increasing police state is something we have in common.

I count among my close friends the mother of the Secretary of State of MO. Almost the entirety of the state level government is Democrat, while down ticket in local levels - including elected officials in law enforcement - it’s almost entirely made up of white conservatives like this cop.

Don’t think elections matter? Think again.

And also think about what these guys say and do when the cameras are turned off if he’s ballsy enough to do this while being filmed and then swarmed by media.
