Lieberman condemned me as a “narcissistic self-promoter,” yet he has never interviewed me. From where does this analysis come?
From the same fking place you are able to get your analysis of the President. Public comments made by you. If A Blow can pull an analysis of the President out of his own a, then Lieberman has the same prerogative to to pull an analysis out of his ass. However, I can’t help but believe that Lieberman’s analysis of A Blow is more definitive than A Blow’s analysis of the President.
As a medical professional it is readily apparent that a President who tours the world apologizing for America, who was part of a church in which the pastor preached “God damn America!” and who admonished American entrepreneurs that they did not build their own businesses is a President who has issues with the nation of which he is President. The use of selected and edited comments of mine to attempt to “shoot the messenger” is an unfair attempt to impair my credibility.
He uses “selected and edited comments” to impair the credibility of the President but then complains when the exact same thing is done to him - in the SAME PARAGRAPH. This guy is too funny.
No normally doctors do not do that, but how can we blame this man for telling the truth about the lunatic Ablow, when he has a daily stage to spew his crap on Fox, and make the profession look as bad as he does?
Does the American Psychiatric Association have any comment on one of their own issuing such a reckless, partisan and ill-informed “diagnosis” of a politician and then using his professional credentials to give it heft?
He is shaming and debasing all psychiatry with this sewage. If they APA is silent about this, it is complicit.
And just think, that the people who pay dearly for his “expertise” are probably the very weak minded, easily duped, paranoid people who watch him on Fox every day. Well I guess I should have some pity for those typical Fox viewers, who are being taken in by this charlatan posing as a psychiatrist.
Even Faux News must see just how ridiculous and patently insane these comments are … and of course I say that because I took Psych 101 in College and have never met Ablow (or viewed him) but still I’m totally accurate in my completely accurate diagnosis for which I am totally and accurately qualified.
Ablow is pissed that he got called on his pseudo-psycho babble. If he wants to mix psychiatry and politics, he should at least use, I don’t know, facts?
I continue to find it impossible to believe that people this high-functioning aren’t also 100% completely aware of their own mendacity. Why should this behavior surprise anyone, given the silly and humiliating things people do on RealityTeeVee just for a chance at 15 minutes…
Ablow’s statement says much about the man. And, it more than confirms Dr. Lieberman’s assessment of the “Shock Doc!”
It is priceless how Ablow dismisses Lieberman’s analysis because the psychiatrist who IS actively involved in the profession, did not interview the news commentator who isn’t. Makes one wonder when did Ablow interview Obama to make his clinical assessment? How many ways does this comport with disturbed, delusional, and narcissistic thinking? Let me count the ways!
What is really nonsensical is why TPM even bothers covering anything this arrogantly under-informed ass says.
