As the article says, Hamas will be dragged in to this too. Would a war crimes investigation of all parties be a good thing? Would it have any meaning? Any teeth?

IMHO, Israel would never submit to that. But I think if Israel did submit to an investigation, they’d control the process for the desired outcome. Bottom line, the U.S. should stay the hell out of this fracas, and let the parties in the region take their case to the U.N., regardless.
The anti-Semitism is stunning. Hamas executed 3 Israeli
teenagers, rained thousands of rockets into Israeli, and
built a network of tunnels to invade and kill Israelis. If Mexico
were doing this to TX, no one would demonize retaliation.
I ask those condemning Israel to give thought to the fact that
it is our ONLY ally in the entire area, that its economy is a
MAJOR asset to ours, and that Jewish Americans have
contributed more to medicine, academia, science, culture,
retail, banking, creative arts, libraries, museums, etc. than ANY other group. I am still waiting to hear any positive contributions to society from Abbas and Hamas. Why was it that neither
Jordan, Egypt or other Arab countries made accommodations
for the Palestinians who CHOSE not to co-exist with Israel?
