What if I don’t believe in hell? Do I still get a reward?
There was one major good thing that happened in the last month. The victory in the Ninth Circuit felt good, but the bigger issue for me was whether Trump would defy that Court order. As some people were asking, is this guy Andrew Jackson?
The answer is no. Maybe it is just that Trump has spent so much time in litigation that he understands what happens when you don’t obey court orders.
That was definitely on the horizon as the first potential Constitutional crisis of the Trump regime.
That, combined with the signs of the press growing a spine, means we still have the judicial branch and the Fourth Estate in our corner. Hey, I am looking forward to lawyers being popular for the first time in a long time!
Clunker, that’s way too complicated.
It is astounding that only one piece of legislation has been passed. You usually see a flood of bills from a new administration making good on promises.
But legislation is hard. Executive orders, especially when you don’t consult any other federal agency, are easy.
Not worth it.
