Discussion: A Man Conference Is Where David Vitter Is Spending His Election Eve

You reminded me of this classic scene from “Airplane.”

My first thought was that they would be exchanging notes on hookers.

Too bad for them, they could’ve gotten Charlie Sheen as a smarmy keynote speaker for $100,000 or so. And he would be interesting!

The diaper. But that’s only because I’m not a Rethuglican so I have more of a sense of humility than a worry about legacy.

No silly, not a circle, but I bet there’s more signals for TP under the partition walls than CPAC ever had.

My mind’s eye gave me a look at hookers jumping out of a cake.

I saw the movie schedule. It reads:

1:30 Davy and Goliath’s Holiday Spectacular
7:40 Dr. Strangelove
9:30 Valley of the Dolls
11:30 Debbie Does Dallas
1:05 & 3:50 (a.m.) Polar Express

Theater cleanup will begin at 6 a.m. sharp. Please be considerate and do your part.

Oh hell, they didn’t run Spartacus last year either. Whatev.

Spartacus was dropped from the rotation after noted historian Bill O’Reilly yelled “that’s not when you’re supposed to (inaudible)” at noted historian Jonah Goldberg during a screening in 2013.

Hmmm… Quick or dirty? (drink) I suppose it Depends. (drink) Well in the case of death, it’s over and done with and doesn’t matter anymore out there in infinite nothingness. Think of it as a long nappy. (drink)
Alive OTOH Louisiana Republicans won’t know or don’t care. With a whiff (drink) of PR work he might expect to blend in and maybe even score (drink) points with the Talibaptists as a freshly reborn rehabilitated sinner. The LA press got spanked (drink) once and won’t bring it up again. Vitter will live happily ever after grifting off his influence.

I saw what you did there. And there, and there, and there. Just wish I had a tenth of a penny for every joke that’s been made about Vitter’s, uh, avocation, or just the money he’s spent on it. Either would really help out this holiday season, you know, with gifts for kids and such, contributions to the Salvation Army, all that good stuff.

Is the attire at this affair “diapers optional”?

Would’ve been for the win BUT you didn’t mention Vitter’s Senate Retirement Package, etc.

There’s a ‘magic slot’…

Maybe they can cure him of his diaper fetish!

In the frequently asked question section for the event at the Lamar
Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana, men are advised to leave their
daughters at home “due to the topics of discussion and our desire to
create a safe place for men.”

Safe place for men

I recommend Bulleits

What worries me aren’t the 3 guys in the image but the zombie in the background…
Yeeesh!

I think I’ve been at that exact place.
It looks like Miami, an outdoor mall near the beach, just south of the basketball arena.

The “Real Men” conference center has installed a special door knocker to keep the wimmen’ folk away…and the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
(*Once, however, they thought a woodpecker was at the door. Turns out Lindsey Graham had dropped by and just couldn’t stop knocking. He seemed in a trance and his trembling hand had to be pried loose.)
