Discussion: A Confused Trump Pulled Out Money During Communion In Iowa Church

Poor guys can purchase absolution too. There is an Almighty sliding scale. Trump, as an every four years Iowa born again Christian, fell way short of his income bracket’s mandatory offering.

“Trump has been courting evangelical voters in Iowa, and he has been attending church services throughout the state”

I’m more surprised that he didn’t burst into flames upon seeing a crucifix.

He did. First the lightning, then the fire.

Would have been even better if he’d stubbed out a cigar in it.

I don’t think the evangelicals care much whether Trump knows when communion takes place, or even what it is. All these devoutly religious people really want is a President who makes it okay again to be an overt bigot.

‘It was so great, very inspiring, but I was a little you know disappointed when the snacks came out the portions in my opinion were too small I actually went for seconds but apparently that’s not something everybody’s in favor of, which is fine, but we’re out there everyday and these are really long days you really need more than those little portions, I called them child portions, but children of course aren’t supposed to drink, and they don’t have any price board up so you really can’t tell what the going rate is, but it’s a little thing and you just have to live with it and soldier on.’

He did ask if the wine was the dipping sauce…
Trump’s hoping for a Latin church as he’s dying for communichanga…Or, a black church for what he imagines is fried communion.

That was my first thought too. Had to read it twice to get it.

Yes, but think it through a bit. In practice, it probably played somewhat of a role like “hush money.” Confessionals and all that, which of course were partly designed to give the church the dirt on the wealthy and powerful. Plus, what plutocrat doesn’t want to believe that God has his price too? EVERYONE has a price, no?

We could ask The Donald. He has a great relationship with “the Gods”.
