Holding McConnell’s Feet To The Fire

Literally, I hope.

Satan promised Mitch, as part of their deal, that he’d be immune to flames.

The Devil is apt to overlook his bargains. Just like McConnell.

A promise from McConnell is the same as a promise from a junkie.
McConnell is the reason Trump is still President.

although he’d met with McConnell several times before, this time he saw a “different side” of the GOP leader when they met on Tuesday

Is it election season already? Gosh, how the last 4 years have flown by.

“This one was different because Mitch McConnell showed his humanity yesterday in that meeting,” the first responder said. “I saw a different side of Mitch McConnell that I hadn’t seen in previous meetings.”

I really wonder how explicit McConnell was when demanding that this guy say nice things about him in exchange for permitting the Senate to do its job for this one 45-minute interval.

Mitch: Every 2 positive adjectives gets you 10 minutes of Senate work. But you get nothing if you fail to mention my name and “human” in the same sentence at least once.

We can only hope.

Susan Collins believed at least 2 promises from mitch (lower case intentional). She got hosed. I hope it’s different for the 9/11 responders

Forget the feet
Hold that ugly Turtle visage to the Fire , nay flamethrower, to get him ready for his descent through Dante’s 9 circles.
He’ll visit them all

Is he sure that it was actually Mitch McConnell with whom he met yesterday?

Scanning quickly, I thought you wrote that the devil is apt to overcook his bargains. Yeah I know, wishful thinking.

Mitch McConnell at his best is satanic.

McConnell keeps his humanity in a puzzle box.

Since mitch is delaying over 100 bills passed out of the House and based on his generally heartless demeanor I would hold that mitch lacks basic empathy and humanity.

I hope so much for the responders sake that this is true.

My concern is that once Feal left the office, one of mitch’s minions came in and helped roll him over, since he was stuck on his back (the “different side”) We won’t be seeing the vulnerable side of him again any time soon.

So you’ll excuse me for asking but the only thing missing from this meeting and this article is…when is the vote? If McTurtle is so different this time, why wasn’t their a scheduled vote mentioned in their discussion? The point of the entire visit I thought was to insure that a vote was not just promised but actually on the immediate schedule so responders can get the necessary medical treatments they need without interruption and out of pocket costs.

The only thing is, it’s real hard to get at the feet…

Oh, I don’t think she actually believed them. That was pure cover.
