Discussion: 6 Cops Charged With Murder Ask Judge To Move Case Out Of Baltimore

Discussion for article #236869

“The Gray motion cites a case moved from Baltimore to Howard County involving the arrests of two African-American residents by officers, some of whom were black and some of whom were white. The population of Howard was 18 percent black, compared with 60 percent in Baltimore. A six-member jury that had one black member rejected a lawsuit against the officers.”

reading something like that and knowing precisely why these assholes are trying to move the case…what’s left to do but either laugh, cry or burn something down?

The motion also asserts that promises from Rawlings-Blake and State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby to obtain justice were prejudicial.

How is it “prejudicial” for officials charged with obtaining justice to promise to obtain justice?

This. No change of venue. Maybe you guys should have thought about how you were policing the majority population in the first place. The State’s Attorney has impressed me so far and I’m sure they’ll have a strong response.
