Also, let’s find out where these assholes got their gun(s). Another case of undocumented sales, not making people accountable for their guns? If you sell a gun, it should be documented. And if it is stolen, you call the police. We do it with cars. Why not guns? We always hear that a car is a dangerous weapon, and it is. You need liability insurance, etc. Well, why not for a gun? Why isn’t a person liable if he sells his gun to a nut without checking his background, etc.?
When my wife worries about our son living in NYC I tell her every other person walking past him on the street is probably an undercover terrorism task force cop. Safer than many cities.

Animals do not commit crimes, humans do. I’ll never understand why every time some human commits a horrible crime they are called animals. Animals don’t do that shit, people do.

You know, where you come up with all kinds of excuses for criminals and animals, and make it easier for more crimes to occur. Enabling is a sign of real confusion. And as to “rationalization”, my comments are the opposite of that - I call for no rationalization of brutality.
I have learned that if you enable animals by making excuses for animal behavior, you get more and worse behavior.

Yeah, this will be on the cover of the NYPost for a year and I have no doubt that half, maybe all, of the Manhattan Institute is working on columns this minute that prove that de Blasio loves rapists. Brownsville (ever been there?) has been a crime-ridden and impoverished neighborhood for years and, unlike the rest of the city, murder has not been decreasing. Overall crime rates have decreased somewhat but murder rates in Brownsville rose significantly under Bloomberg. There are serious, nasty, gang wars there, few good jobs, and many many poor people who have seen things like day care and after-school programs and social services in general decline. De Blasio inherited Brownsville, he didn’t create it. The city (especially under Bloomberg) has dumped one after another homeless shelter and half-way house in Brownsville, cut services, ignored the schools and on and on. As for race relations in the city declining under de Blasio . . . well, it’s true that some polling shows that white people in the city, especially after the Eric Gardner protests, think that race relations have declined but I’d argue that stopping stop and frisk has helped significantly with relations between the NYPD and the non-white population who, polling shows, do not see the same drop off in race relations. Crime is still going down in the city, despite every attempt by the NYPost and Co. to claim otherwise and stir up racial violence.
