And the beat goes on.
Will congress ever stop kneeling before the altar of the NRA?
At this point, I am at a loss for words. Sad … on so many levels.
Gun owner needs to be charged with manslaughter or homicide.
Questions:
- Is the gun OK?
- Where was the good 1 year old with a gun?
- A gun was involved; by definition, there is no crime, only FREEDOM™, so why should anyone be charged with a crime over this?
- Was the 3 year old standing his ground?
“It’s a sad day for Cleveland,” [Police Chief] Williams told reporters outside the
home. “This fascination that we have with handguns, not just in this
city but in this country, has to stop. This is a senseless loss of
life.”
Wow… I don’t think I’ve ever heard that kind of blunt talk from a police chief in a major U.S. city. Sing it. From his lips to the ears of Congress.
And cue lil Wayne LaPierre proclaiming loudly, this wouldn’t have happened if only the one-year old had been in a position to return fire.
But to put this into context, Mr. Robinson is probably black, and these same sentiments were not spoken after a police officer gunned down a kid in a Cleveland park!
In a more rational world, it would have taken only one incident like this for making a loaded gun accessible to a child to become a felony regardless of whether anyone actually gets killed.
