Trump will simply claim that he was instructing security personnel, and that he couldn’t see what was going on out in the audience. Plausible enough to defend against the suit, unless it is clear from full video that he was urging the audience to get involved.
3…2…1…countersuit. Not only will he do it, but he’ll claim some insane amount of damage for it as a threat to permanently impoverish these people.
Ever since Trump announced his run by slurring Mexicans and Bragging he was gonna make Mexico build a wall and pay for it I have had a hard time keeping Pink Floyd out of my head
The Wall:
One day someone will take him down. It is inevitable. Father Time if no one else. Heh, come to think of it he might try to counter sue ol’ Father Time.
Ugh… I’m not a fan of Trump by any measure, but this shit just makes me roll my eyes. You showed up to a Trump rally specifically to cause trouble, then you decide to get litigious because people were rude to you?
If you are claiming you were physically assaulted, press criminal charges, certainly, but don’t treat the fact that Trump’s followers are racist and said some racist bullshit as your personal opportunity to get rich.
I hope they win!
Although Drumpf has offered to pay the legal fees of thugs and goons at his rallies — something I’ll bet he never does — I wonder if that offer also stands for the thugs and goons in his employ?

What’s the point of protesting among a bunch of Trump sociopaths? The only protest that matters, one that won’t harm you, is what you do in the voting booth.
“Two protesters were punched in the head at his campaign rallies in March, and a 15-year-old girl was pepper-sprayed in the face Tuesday.”
The GOP’s inspiration for trying to kill protesters comes from St. Ronny of Depends:
“If it takes a bloodbath to silence the demonstrators, let’s get it over with.” – Ronald Reagan
They showed up to protest. Protesting is a right, and protesting necessarily causes trouble. That’s the point, to draw attention to an issue. Whether they win or lose, suing Trump isn’t about money. It’s about trying to force him to take responsibility for his role in the violence. And maybe if enough people sue him it might make him think twice about riling up his violent followers. Probably not, but its still another way to make him look even worse.
So when reporters ask Hillary about running against Trump…can she hit back and say something along the lines of: “I’m ready for him, but I don’t know if he’s even going to be allowed to run. We’ll just have to see if he can stay out of jail.”?
If this goes on much longer, and many more victims show up, especially on camera, T-Rump will be facing a class-action lawsuit…
C’mon… that’s not the way you do it. Lawsuits are for sissies, find out where the next rally is and go and throw a few bricks.
Encouraging!
He crafted it.
Boy, are you stu pid!
Perhaps, but offering to pay the legal fees of anyone arrested is pretty clear. That’s an unambiguous statement that if anyone does anything that’s against the law, like assaulting someone, he can do it with impunity. I don’t know how Trump finesses that one.
That’s what we admire here - witty repartee.
Or glib.
The lawsuit is for hairdo unbecoming and adulterous short finger waving actually.
Trump’s rogue personality, while rude and insulting, is not actionable.
