There was a Comprehensive Immigration Bill PASSED by the Senate, ready for the President to sign, once it got through the House. The drunk bastard Boehner would not allow the House to even VOTE on the measure, because he invoked the so-called “Hastert Rule”.

The Hastert Rule as used by Boehner gave him the excuse to say that he would not put any measure up for a vote unless it had majority Republican support. One must bear in mind that the Comprehensive Immigration Bill passed by the Senate could have been passed with a COMBINATION OF Democratic and Republican House members (even if the Republican votes would be very small in number).

THAT is the reality of why we do not have that legislation. I can well understand why FOX would be the last organ of information which would point this out. However, the MSM is running on all cylinders in their successful effort to squash any discussion of Boehner’s action, and the role of House Republicans and the GOP in general on this matter.

When this Jose Diaz Balart grilled Obama on Immigration some months ago, there was a sharp criticism of the Democrats in general and Obama in particular on “broken promises” on Immigration. No mention of Boehner’s role in the broken promises.

The Latino vote has never been reliably ours and we’d better get ready for the reality of non-voting Latinos.

A dear friend of mine who has his ear to the ground says otherwise, but we both could be wrong.

Right now, my eye is on “El Gallito”…Congressman Luis Gutierrez.

In a letter, the senators wrote that the raids were sweeping up mothers and children who face threats of violence and death when they are returned to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

But…but…how can this be? Rick Santorum has assured me they’re going to be importing wholesome American goodness. Goodness gracious, could he be wrong?

Why are they sending a letter to Obama? Isn’t this now the Supreme Court’s purview? Haven’t they decided they need to help that black man in the White House rule by looking over his Executive Actions? You know, they’re bizarro version of affirmative action.

The disparity in perception VS reality is amazing. Ask any Conservative and they think Obama is practically giving the country away to the illegals and they hate him for it. The fact is he has deported more people, and done more to secure the border then any president in recent history.

If they are so gung-ho on raids, how about trying one on an area in eastern Or. I think there are a group of
criminals that needs to be taken care of.

That’s clearly, obviously, and totally false. What Obama has done is change the definition of “deportation” to mean something it has never meant. It does NOT mean “turning them back at the border”, which Obama has changed it to mean. In terms of deporting actual criminals from the US, the numbers under Obama are way, way down. And the Democratic Party now stands for promoting the violation of laws. That is disgusting. We do not need more criminals here to steal jobs from Americans.
