Former FreedomWorks president Dick Armey said Monday that a number of Republican candidates lost in November because they “did dumb things” and lacked the proper schooling and support from Republican leaders. Alluding to Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock, Armey told “CBS This Morning” the Senate candidates lost because they said “stupid things on a subject that their party’s leaders should have schooled them to stay away from in the first place.”
