In the letter, which was shared with TPM, Reps. Judy Chu (D-CA) and Gwen Moore (D-WI) say that Johnson agreed to hold a House Ways and Means Committee hearing next week on Elon Musk and his DOGE coders’ access to the Treasury Department’s payment system.

Well…… it’s a start. And as others have noted it was 2 women leading the charge. So now where’s the rest of the caucus on this ? Hakeem Jeffries ? And of course the MSM ? There should be people of every stripe hounding Johnson’s every step until it is verified and subpoenas issued if need be. Bring these criminals under the bright lights and grill ‘em till they squirm !

Representative Mark Pocan (D-WI) announced he would introduce the ELON MUSK Act—the Eliminate Looting of Our Nation by Mitigating Unethical State Kleptocracy Act—which would ban federal contracts for Special Government Employees, similar to the bans for members of Congress and other federal employees.
