After a pro-Trump mob raided and vandalized the Capitol, Democrats seeking to hold President Donald Trump and his Republican lackeys accountable have been plumbing the depths of available laws and procedure.

“I just introduced H.Res. 25,” tweeted freshman Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) Monday. “It would, under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, investigate and expel the GOP members of Congress who attempted to overturn the election and incited a white supremacist attack.”

Anyone killed fighting the on-going Trump Insurrection should be buried on the front lawn of Mar-e-Coli.

It worked for Bobby Lee…

The 14th Amendment, Sections 3 seem supremely applicable to this current situation. Let’s give it a try.

OT: CNN is reporting on air that Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf is stepping down/resigning.

What.The.Fuck. Here we are in the midst of a time of very, very significant violent civil unrest, and the “acting” head of the Department of Homeland Security is bolting.

He found out he’s on the no-fly list. And the Parler hack has him on shaky (treasonous) ground.

Like almost all of Trump’s toadies, Chad Wolf is an ignorant coward who can’t take the heat of leadership.

Now Acting Homeland Wolf stepping down.

Actually…might be better as I don’t trust his ass…but REALLY afraid of who could come next.

It is about the transition. You know it is.

This *should* mean that FEMA Director Pete Gaynor is the Acting Secretary (indeed, he arguably was already).

But this is DHS under Trump, so who knows whether they’ll try to install someone else.

Wolf had arguably been serving unlawfully as Acting Secretary even before last week.

Even if he wasn’t, the White House’s withdrawal of his *second* nomination last Wednesday necessarily barred him from continuing to serve as Acting Secretary under a 2009 appropriations statute. https://t.co/cxrHqt1pqP
