Yes, but with limitation to those who serve(d) in the executive branch. Critters’ clearances are inherent in being elected and their committee assignments. Until expulsion or expiration of the term without re-election, they retain their clearance.

George Santos is awful. He is a liar and a swindler. Of course, he is only notable because he is so much worse at it than his colleagues, who are also liars and swindlers. None of them should have access to classified material, as all of them are morally deficient.
That having been said, McCarthy would be embarrassing himself if he were capable of shame.

Is Kevin McCarthy Lord of the America’s Flies? I hear that a guy in the stall next to Kevin saw swarm after swarm of flies emerging. The stench was also overwhelming.
Santos, if that is his name, ought not be anywhere near any committee nor should he have access to anything classified. It’s not party, it’s that he has proven he cannot be trusted. He lies like he breathes. I cannot trust him even if he tells the truth. And as I said, it isn’t a matter of republican or democrat

Bummer that being in drag is a show stopper. It should be irrelevant. However, Republicans seem to have their priorities so screwed up. All the egregious things he did but not until he was seen dressed as a woman did the Republicans finally want to rid of him.

Maybe the only true thing is he’s gay. He says he’s gay, but you can’t believe a word he says. OTOH, he appears to have had boyfriends all the way back to adolescence and no girlfriends. His “wife” looks like a sham marriage, perhaps in exchange for cash. Hope he gets nailed for that one.

McCarthy is counting on the Ethics Committee to take at least two years to process this case.
Then if Santos loses in 2024 nothing will need to be done.
And if Santos wins in 2024 he can say “The voters have spoken!”
