There’s no need for all these bleeding heart liberal businesses in Georgia. We have trickle-down economics and tax-cuts for the rich to protect us. Don’t let them cancel our culture.

Easy for him to be all indignant now that the law has been put into effect. It’s all for show. Bastard. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Ed should have opened up his yap a lot more BEFORE the bill was signed.

And having declared the new law to be “unacceptable,” Delta will now proceed to do fuck-all nothing about it, thereby tacitly accepting it.

It’s a good start Ed but what specifically is delta gonna do about it?

Which is exactly the next question:

How much money and other resources will Delta put behind Brian Kemp’s Democrat challenger in 2022?

As TPM noted:

Bastian’s initial statement shortly after the passage of the new Georgia voting law last week prompted a #BoycottDelta social media trend.

Exactly the same amount as they will give to Brian Kemp. Public companies like Delta pretty much always play both sides.

Employees of Delta should kick ass. Flyers of Delta should kick ass. Other businesses should kick ass. Voters/people of conscience should kick ass. It’s clear that applying pressure works. Conclusion: Apply more pressure.

"Delta’s tweet promoting its flights to Iceland was bombarded with responses related to the company’s lack of condemnation for the state’s voting law.

I can see where the threat of black people refusing to fly to Iceland would be a cause for concern.

Bastian’s public criticism of the new Georgia law

umm…

In a letter sent to employees

Public criticism needs to be, you know, public. Maybe Bastian could write an op-ed for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, or do the Sunday rounds. Sure, a letter to employees is bound to get leaked but it’s still pretty weak compared to all the options available to him.
