That is a number I have trouble believing. Mercenaries are all for human rights abuses, but don’t really like taking high causalities. After all they are in the mercenary business to make a living, not to make a dying.

So isn’t the rule that when you refuse to produce records in a case, the jury is instructed to assume that the content of those records is completely against you?
And it sounds as if the bills rudi ran up and then refused to pay aren’t even in this case. I’m perfectly happy with the idea of appointing a receiver for all of his assets. Or he could make a settlement offer.

Rudy is 78 years old. All he had to do in 2016 was stay away from Trump and keep his mouth shut and he could have comfortably ridden his (undeserved) monicker of America’s Mayor through to a burial with honors and a proud legacy for his name.
Instead, he won’t even be able to afford his diapers were it not for the Medicare that his side wants to dismantle.

I don’t think you can refuse to produce documents. You can invoke the 5th amendment to avoid having to testify, and in that case, yes, the jury is told to take any negative inference from that they like.

That’s no threat. It would take the FBI a year or two to act on the info, and once they made recommendations to the DOJ it would take Merrick Garland another year or more to respond. At this point Trump will drop dead from advanced old age before justice catches up with him.
