If a Democratic candidate is credibly accused of rape, and youâre choosing to direct your anger at the Democratic establishment and not the alleged rapist, thatâs a âyou problemâ as my kids would say.

A lot of red flags raised by the Platner business. From the beginning, Fetterman style red flags concerning his politics and party loyalty. The tattoos and working class attitudes are working class and rough around the edges. There was Al Franken removed by allegations of not particularly serious misdemeanors. Bottom line is that the Democratic Party is better off with Democrats in the Senate.
Fox and Friends are licking their chops that unsubstantiated accusations of rape can take out a Democrat. Harkens back to the Klan and the old days of public lynching. I say everyone deserves a fair trial. If he resigns, it is an admission of guilt. If not, remember Paxton in Texas.
I donât know if the allegation is credible or not. It sounds like a couple of mainstream news sources that usually listen to the neoliberals in the Demcoratc leadership are reporting the allegations. After the last 10 years and knowing what happened to Al Franken at the hands of Democratic leadership and those mainstream media outlets I am left to wonder if they have the integrity I used to think they had.

You are right my take might be a âme problemâ but it might be a âme problemâ for a lot of Democratic rank and file who voted for him in the first place. They probably donât want to replace him with another neoliberal who would join the duck and cover crowd. They need somebody who is willing to fight.
