Cuomo: Outbreak Won’t Be Over Soon | Talking Points Memo

Just like EPA directors, it’s the next job they’re working for.

Or his hair, either. What a loser. Obviously doesn’t know how to play the game. Weak.

Or a mechanism to remove someone in such a position, if they prove themselves unworthy of it.

This is over when Trump says it is over and Moscow Mitch and 51 other ass kissing unAmericans grin and agree.

In my mind, it is all about the access. If you have “contacts” inside the WH who will give you the latest gossip on Trump’s newest tantrum, that makes you an important person in the journalism world at NYT. Someone as brilliant and informative as Krugman will always play second fiddle to the “scoop”. Health and science reporters - ugh - not exactly a cash cow. There is always a hierarchy in any big organization, and most people do NOT get to the upper echelons by speaking truth to power.

I have to say, best laugh I’ve had in at least a couple of days.

What’s going on here, some kind of Ayn Randian-like comedy extolling the virtues of free-market healthcare? Common sense obviously dictates that FEMA would, of course, be the central point of negotiations for all needed medical supplies for the entire country. Of course, FEMA would be the distribution channel to send these supplies, once secured, to those places where they are needed.

Perhaps these concepts are just too much of a “socialism” thing for this administration to even contemplate? Wow! It truly boggles the logical mind. To paraphrase Daddy Bush (41), we are all plodding through some deep doo-doo as a result.

The occupant doesn’t know what “not flattening” means. The blue line that’s higher than the rest? That’s this country.
