New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) announced on Wednesday that his state will no longer follow COVID-19 testing guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), asserting that the agency has become too politicized by President Donald Trump to be credible.
Good…no need to follow CDC’s guideline since they are now infected with Trumpian Virus!

What Covid crisis? Didn’t Andrew Cuomo hear Larry Kudlow last evening? The Covid crisis was so March or early April. It is all past history. Nothing to do here just move along. The CDC is just part of Trump’s reelection campaign.
So now the CDC is essentially taking Trump’s line that testing causes the number of infections to rise? As if the cases don’t exist if they aren’t detected?
I just love it when Cuomo grabs Current Occupant by his ridiculously long tie, yanks him forward on his platform lift shoes and says directly to his face “Go fuck yourself, dickwad!”.

This bullshit is exhausting to me. I can’t even imagine what it must be like to be a governor or mayor or any other responsible elected official and have to deal with it while trying to protect people from all the disasters that are hammering on this country right now. Meantime, a major hurricane is converging with COVID-19 to create a major disaster threat for Texas and Louisiana, and Current Occupant has not-so-much to say about that. I’m guessing the hurricane will “disappear just like that” in the same way the pandemic has, according to Kudlow, already become a thing of the past.

Looking at the Worldometer update, the US is on track to surpass Italy, Spain and the UK in deaths per million by early October. And this is w/o taking into consideration the inevitable surge from Sturgis and similar events, more colleges and schools returning to classes, Labor Day activities, folks trying to make up for missed vacations and much of the general public dropping their guard in September due to the rosy picture being painted by the WH.
As we approach Halloween and the flu season, I suspect we will be seeing case numbers similar to or greater than July. And, the daily death toll rising.
