Cruz: ‘Entire Reason’ For Quick Confirmation Is So Barrett Can Weigh In On Election Issues | Talking Points Memo

Roberts likes to appear reasonable while poisoning the well, that is his schtick. Robert’s could be the tie vote.

Especially if he thinks it keeps Joe from expanding the court

Further from the kitchen or her church than she’s been in years.

And with all those men, must be thinking about the impropriety of it all, and how this might distress her husband who, instead of dominating her, is nowhere to be seen.

Who is the guy standing quite literally in the shadow of Pence?

And why does Barrett look like she’s going to bolt up the chimney the second the photo opp is done?

With Cruz’s reasoning, the SC should send everyone home and turn off the lights until after the confirmation. Bullshit. The SC went 9 months without a ninth justice after Scalia died and yet still went about its business.

Is the grimace on Moscow Mitch’s face because he just soiled his Depends or is in the process of soiling his Depends?

Good question. Pence looks mighty sheepish and why didn’t someone think to move the table in front of her. She looks to be floating.

6-3 is better than 5-3, I guess. To an outsider, this looks rushed and desperate, but inside Ted’s head and many others, it, like Trump’s tax avoidance, is not criminal or shameful behavior, but a heroic act.

So we are expecting a hugely contested election? The Supreme Court now decides who gets to run the country not the voters.

Maybe she is floating, and has used her powers to bewitch Pence. Mother watches c-span, horrified as all her warnings and care over the years go to waste in one moment alone with a woman and her not by his side to protect him from the spells.

That’s Mark Meadows.

Next to them is Pat Cipollone. He claims to be a lawyer of some sort, I’m not quite sure.

Here you’re on your own.

It seems like first big, and very critical ethical test of ACB is whether she accepts the nomination under these circumstances. If she does, she fails the first test. If she doesn’t recuse on all matters relating to the election, she will have failed the second ethical test. Assuming she lets her ambition rule, can we really expect to see fair, non-[partisan rulinlgs? Of course not.

Ted Cruz’s father was not involved in the Kennedy assassination, Ted was.

I think it will take more than a Trump defeat for the Court to get involved. He damn well better have some facts to present to the court not theories.
