Trump’s grift has been bigger and bolder, managing somehow not to have his own soul saved and or to heed a call to follow Jesus, yet being fully embraced by evangelical ministers, often literally in performative Oval Office prayer sessions. Grift knows grift.
Why is it I am the only one who will say it:
Donald Trump did not create his base but rather the base of the Republican Party created Donald Trump AND The overwhelming support by White Evangelicals for Donald “grab her by the ……” Trump proves beyond all doubt that “values” in front of the word voter is and has always been code for race.

I personally have established a couple of axioms that apply here. 1) If Trump says it, it’s false, and 2) If Trump does it, it’s illegal.

And, of course, withdrawing the bombers from England comes after the regime has browbeat and alienated many purported allies for not getting on board with their aggressive, if not also self-serving, war.
I’d think if it was so important (rather than, say, an attempt to impugn European governments’ public stance against imperial wars) steps would be taken to secure the base while keeping the planes there. (ed.)

The spin is for his followers. He’s already shown that he can motivate them to commit violence on his behalf. I think to some extent this is starting to look like an endgame. He knows he’ll lose in November, the only alternative will be to further break the government and use violence to control the population. And he won’t give a damn about the Posse comitatus act, neither will the psycho at the DoW. I think we’ve all worried that the purges were intended to make using the military against us easier.
