Convinced Yet That No One Is Safe From Trump's Depredations?

I see comics who built entire careers bitching about how they couldn’t say ‘retarded’ anymore falling completely silent. It was always a scam, a play to the lowest common denominator.

Feels like Horst Wessel was killed in the Reichstag Fire.
We are so fucked.

Australian and Al-Jazeera journos shut out of Trump-Starmer presser. Pranksters projecting Trump-Epstein images on castle wall arrested and criminally charged. Orange big baby Trump balloon, paraded through streets every visit Trump has made to the Isles, AWOL. All that’s left is for the BBC to fire a prominent TV personality for inarticulate Kirk remarks.

Censorship in Nazi Germany was extreme and strictly enforced by the governing Nazi Party, but specifically by Joseph Goebbels and his Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda. Similarly to many other police states both before and since, censorship within Nazi Germany included the silencing of all past and present dissenting voices. In addition to the further propaganda weaponization of all forms of mass communication, including newspaper, music, literature, radio, and film, by the State,[1] the Ministry of Propaganda also produced and disseminated their own literature, which was solely devoted to spreading Nazi ideology and the Hitler Myth.

With disturbingly close similarities to Socialist Realism in the Soviet Union, crude caricatures were used to dehumanize and stir up hatred against the [single party state](One-party state - Wikipedia)'s both real and imagined opponents.

There is no organization called antifa. Antifa is a position. They might as well label vegetarians a terrorist group.

By the way, I am anti-fascist. Fascism bad.

4th Amendment problems for the regime.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

We nabbed you because you were sitting next to this guy we suspected of immigration problems because he is brown. Both of you turned out to be citizens but now that we have you we are going to search everything about you.

Donald Trump’s Windsor Castle speech won’t be remembered for its diplomatic successes or policy announcements. But rather, they will become a lesson in what not to do. It was full of rambling and error-filled addresses. While polite laughter may mask discomfort in a royal banquet hall, the public record doesn’t so easily forget.

We’re not fucked. Right now all the worst people are betting the farm on failed technology and straight-up grifts. They’re all terminally online and think that AI and shitty replicas of actual culture will replace creativity and humanity. It will come crashing down.

“Homeland” has echoes of 30s Germany. The Department of Homeland Security was brought to us by the Bush administration.

Trump will sign an executive order declaring they have to establish an office with a street address, procure an EIN#, and file quarterly donation reports. Then raid and deport the janitors and gardeners on site.

Is he dead yet? The only thing that will save us is him dying in public.

On the bright side, judging by the spackle and the purple tinge to his hand yesterday, he’s completely fucked health wise.

And rules were mentioned above. There are no rules, just the whims of a mad :orange_circle: demented

ETA at the starmer press conference he is propped up on the podium as his shoe lifts are too tall and he is decrepit.

I have several things I wanted to post, including Patel saying he can’t release info on the would-be TFG assassin until after the trial. You know, the guy who’s dead.

China taking a page out of TFG’s playbook when it comes to banning imports of tech items from Nvdia

And several more. But I am tired of trying to work around the formatting issues. Screw it. I don’t have the time or energy to keep doing it.

Just further proof that this man is no longer competent to hold office. How long will we keep saying how wonderful are the Emperor’s new clothes? 25 47

“Nothing about Disney/ABC’s capitulation in taking Kimmel off the air can be reasonably minimized.”
… … … … … …
Kimmel coulda said Kirk was God manifested in human form and Jimmy still woulda been taken off the air because his comment would be seen as unacceptable satire. The powers that be would’ve had their dander up had he said nothing at all about Kirk.

If it wasn’t this excuse, they’d have found another. Reminder that the president posted this all the way back in July.
