The Ballroom to Save America As reporters on Saturday night were waiting for President Donald Trump to give a press conference from the briefing room following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner attack, a unified message began percolating online among elected Republicans and other influential right-wingers: This is why we need the ballroom. And once the…
A man that insists he is not a pedophile also insists that America provide him a ballroom.
Citizens elected him and Republicans still line up to agree with him.
Surprise, surprise. The first business day after the President inappropriately promoted the ballroom in the aftermath of the shooting at the press gathering, the sycophantic Republicans in the House have jumped to attention and expressed their support for it.
Seven inch dense windows match the dense Republican mind. Last week’s shooter was on the INSIDE, you dolt! A new Democratic administration will be planning a ballroom remodel to multiple lavish offices named after distinguished Democrats.
Please confirm that ‘line of secession’ was a monumental Freudian slip, not just a typo?
As the week begins, congressional Republicans are trying really, really hard to sell the White House ballroom as a “solution” to rising political violence and the everyday occurrence of gun violence.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) — who was present at the Saturday night dinner and was quickly evacuated — spent Monday morning on Fox News acting as the marketing team for the ballroom.
Just like the Jr. Bush’s invasion of Iraq was the solution 9-11.
Even Trumpees understand that “the ballroom” for Trump is at best a vanity project and has nothing to do with security or anything else other than Donald Trump’s ego.
The ballroom is also unpopular. So I suppose if going into the midterms this is a gift congressional Republicans want to give Trump, I guess in a way someone, Republican’s in the House and the Senate, will be paying for Trump’s vanity project.
“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.”
Remember the outrage from Republicans when Rahm Emmanuel said this? Well, now that the ballroom is in serious jeopardy, they seem to have developed a new respect for him.
Actually, I’m in complete agreement with building the ballroom. This way, the next time Trump orders his supporters to attack the government, they can be herded into the ballroom, which they can ransack to their hearts’ delight. Followed by a dance, of course, to the “music” of Kid Rock and Ted Nugent. Lara Trump will close out the evening to ensure everyone leaves quickly.
PS. Free tickets to next Trump crypto coin dinner to anyone who can listen to the whole song.
Not a lawyer, but “Attempting to Assassinate the President”? He wasn’t even in the same room. He did not shoot at the President. How does that work?
Thing #1: Why was WHCD shooter Cole Allen stripped and photographed naked?
Thing #2: The ballroom proposal…
“The White House ballroom project is not just a fun project for President Trump — like you will read in the media,” Leavitt said on Monday. “It is actually critical for our national security that a larger, secure building on this complex … is built to accommodate not only large amounts of guests (emphasis added)
According to the White House website, the ballroom will “have a seated capacity of 650”
According to the Hilton website the International Ballroom can accommodate 2670 for a banquet.

More lies, spin, and BS
It was his intent and he attempted to do it. The fact that he was too stupid to realize he had no chance is irrelevant.
Everyone knows that ballrooms prevent crime. People come to Trump with tears in their eyes begging him to construct ballrooms to stop crime. They say, tears welling up, “Thank you, sir, for building your ballroom. $400 million is such a small price to pay for your safety. I would gladly pay $1 billion, so you are actually saving us money, and should be paid the extra $600 million as a thank-you from your people.”
Once you have a ballroom, you don’t even need security — a proper ballroom secures itself. I mean, they begged Abraham Lincoln for a ballroom, but he declined, and look what happened to him.
There is no priority higher for the president and his staff than the president’s enrichment. He’s the condemned prisoner who’d try to make a buck selling rope to his executioner.
An event honoring the First Amendment shouldn’t be held in a government building, especially the White House.
As usual, Trump’s logic is f_cking nonsense!
And that’s just the military.
But is attempting to breach security the same as attempting to assassinate?
This works for me if we weld the fucking doors shut, or just air-drop massive amounts of concrete over the top, make it honkin’ big sarcophagus.
