There are two interrelated stories that are being largely ignored.

So, it’s pretty obvious that Miller and Thei are creating an online tracking system to connect every online comment and opinion back to an IP address, a SSN, a phone, number, and address, a physical location. Because we are all now enemies of Fat Boy’s fascist state.
That is where this is going folks, a complete and total takeover of our lives. We either start preparing for the fight none of us wants to have, or we get used to the idea of living in a dystopian nightmare.

That’s good, you got them out of the way. Because the next stage of grief is anger. You people had better start getting angry and fast. The ICE app is a good place to start. Then, you need to arm yourselves and take firearms training. Because again, if you think this ends without bloodshed, you’re still in denial. I know you’re scared. But compare that fear you have now to what you will fear if the fat piece of shit wins. We cannot allow that to happen.
But let me leave you with a little encouragement.
It was liberals who fought the American Revolution, while conservatives skittered back to the safety of the monarch.
It was liberals who fought to end slavery and defeat the Rebellion of Southern Treason. Yes, Lincoln should have hanged the leadership, but nevertheless.
And it was liberals who rose up and smashed the Nazis.
If you really think a bunch of overfed, Gravy Seals, Meal Team Six incels are going to defeat us, then I suggest you cower while those of us descended from the men and women who stood up when democracy called do so again.

Both @zenicetus and @mondfledermaus are correct here. We are no longer in a functioning democracy, and it does require a bottom-up solution. We cannot rely on future elections to restore order.
This requires a general strike in which the citizens withhold their labor for as long as it takes to affect change. Impeachment of the orange shitgibbon and his minions. Nobody needs to “take to the streets”. No targets for trump’s Gestapo. No violence. It will require planning and coordination. People must prepare their funds. It will take time, so we should start the planning now.

Can we please dispense with the ‘Congress did such and such……!’ The Republicans in Congress did this. The Republican Party did this. The broad reference to ‘Congress’ gives the casual reader the false impression that this was some broad effort of the legislative branch when we know this was a partisan attack by Republican elected officials - who are all MAGA now - to further destroy what’s left of rule of law, due process, and the Constitution.
