It’s not a silly claim at all. They’re just making it clear that they’re Trump’s Enforcers, and were acting at his direction, occasionally directly, but mostly via Giuliani.
But they had one-way tickets. How’s come?
Hell I’m still, trying to patiently at least, wait for all those promises of waterboarding and moving to Costa Rica as well as the tRUmp investigation teams results from Hawaii.
Whoa! I had no idea that the mug shot of Igor we have been seeing everywhere was actually the glamour shot.
It would serve two purposes if they’d stay in Austria: It would Make Austria Great Again and it would drain the (US) swamp.
A Fox News spokesperson relayed a statement from Hannity to TPM. “We never reveal our sources, potential sources, or persons they may or may not request to interview,” it read. “Sean Hannity takes the first amendment seriously.”
Oh the Secrecy!!! The lack of transparency!!! Bring me the fainting couch!!!
Especially if they were going to meet Mz. Lindsey there.
How do you spell “unraveling”? Feels like that is what is happening. The great unraveling.
Why conduct the “interview” from Vienna? Does Shokin live there now, or is he still in his home country of Ukraine?
Because there’s only one person confirmed to be residing in Vienna: oligarch Firtash. This “interview” seems to be a convenient alibi, diverting attention from what could have been a planning meeting between Firtash, Giuliani, and the 2 Stooges.
A dozen cell phones -odds are that Hannity is on more than one of those monitored calls. I figured that he would hide behind the first amendment but I would still love to see him indicted.
They really never gave the Anschluss a chance.
Or a least an honorable mention: “News Personality 1”
Shokin would have required a visa to come to the US. Not a guarantee that he would get one, given his shady stuff, and always risky traveling to the US when you’re a criminal, never know when the Feds might pick you up at the border. A lot of folks have learned that the hard way over the years.
Hannity never clarified what kind of advise on which kind of business he was getting from the Michael “worst-liar-ever-not-to-be-believed-a-single-word” Cohen.
Attorney-Client privilege and the Attorney Work Product doctrine (privilege) extend to staff necessary for the attorney to provide legal services to the client, including paralegals, secretaries, investigators, and interpreters. However — and it is a huge however — it only applies when all the basic elements necessary for the privileges exist.
The communications must be confidential and necessary to providing legal advice and services to the client. If you bring in some third party or tell anyone what you talked about or what you’re doing, there’s no privilege. As many a mobster and corporate exec has learned, things don’t become privileged just because there’s an attorney in the room or you cc them on a document.
Also, and this is a big one with these grifters, the privilege doesn’t exist if you’re using it to help commit a crime or fraud.
The executive privilege claim is a joke. Rudy didn’t work for the President or the Executive Branch, he worked (maybe) for Donald Trump individually.
You have no idea how much I appreciate you posting this information. Thank you kindly sir.
Has anyone checked out Hannity lately and his opening monolouges ?
Caught writer Frank Rich awhile back, and something he said really stuck and I know he was talking about FOX and Hannity .He said " you can turn on certain stations and you find a total different reality".
The resulting loose thread will be longer than the distance from earth to Epsilon Eridani.
I wonder if Billy Barr gave some “helpful” advice the night he visited Murdoch.
So, is Hannity also an unpaid, unofficial Trump employee? haha
That fucker needs to be scrutinized further - and don’t forget his taking HUD monies for profit.
