And as Trump’s personal attorney how did he have any standing/authority to broker an agreement between the head of a foreign country and the US?
I say this because Kurt Volker was also on the call. Volker served as US Special Representative to Ukraine. I’m assuming here that he was asked to serve, or was appointed to this position to be a go between the US and Ukraine. Volker resigned in 2019, and I assume after this call was made.

Maybe, but Rudy has repeatedly and explicitly stated that he has tapes and receipts. Those were warnings. He’s got evidence way beyond “ravings,” and Donald knows it.

He’s technically in violation of the Logan Act for unauthorized negotiations on behalf of the US with a foreign government, although that’s only been applied twice and not since 1852. Also might tie into charges about not registering as a lobbyist for Ukraine? Anyway, it’s something else to add to the pile of evidence for plea negotiations.
