Chuck Edwards Drops Reelection Bid Following Embarrassing Congressional Investigation

The Sirrus/XM radio Progressive channel is quite good and has informative thoughtful hosts. The thing is that its satellite radio which one has to pay for versus terrestrial radio which is free and has a captive audience.

Well, the mass deportation is quite real, so is the persecution of trans people, not to mention the war on DEI. And those kept promises are what has kept him with around 40% approval. People did not vote for him because of the price of eggs or gas.

Sy Sperling is dead. Long live Sy Sperling!

Let us not forget the “oligarch effect” - they’ve been buying up the “Mainstream Librul Media” for years, and that includes paper publishers, FM and broadcast networks and rural AM radio stations. Given that there can be only so many channels per area this means that they’ve effectively captured a near-monopoly on AM outlets in many areas.

And the Left just hasn’t had anything close to that money being invested in either slowing the Right, or establishing their own network of channels.

Fetterman: “I’m Not Going To Vote For” Todd Blanche

August 5, 2026 Congress, Democrats

The Hill reports:

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) says he will vote against acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s nomination to serve in the role permanently, putting more pressure on Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) to limit GOP defections on the high-profile nominee.

“If you’re going to bring up Blanche, I’m not going to vote for him,” Fetterman told “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart” podcast. He noted that he’s supported some of President Trump’s Cabinet picks, most notably Markwayne Mullin’s nomination to serve as secretary of Homeland Security.

Fetterman could have blocked Mullin’s nomination in the Homeland Security Committee because the panel’s Republican chair, Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.), voted against him.

Fetterman said the same back in June.

There is plenty of all of that in the surrounding countryside.

Ok - but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Same with Concerned Susie.

Neither one of them have earned any kind of respect for me.
