Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) advised President Donald Trump on Monday morning to take it down a notch with his bombastic daily press briefings on COVID-19.

If the Outlaw Jersey Whale weren’t such a despicable human being he would be recommending Toadglans be removed. But as you can see, the Outlaw Jersey Whale is a despicable human being.

Mr. Christie, to your left I show you the barn, its door wide open. To the right, about, oh, a mile down the road at the crest of the hill, I show you the horse that was once in that barn.

I’m sure Trump is up to the challenge of screwing up in fifteen minutes or less.

“I think an hour and a half or two hours of anybody every day is not going to be great for their political standing, no matter who they are or what they do, and given a microphone, who among us wouldn’t suggest that injecting people with poison is a good idea?”

This is news? Christie is just stating the obvious. If Trump truly followed his advice he would still be a Trump adviser and not a TV talking head.

“The President is always going to continue to be his own communications director.”

Shorter Pontius Christie - “We’re screwed, get used to Trump continuing to botch the COVID response killing thousands of Americans and the Republican Party. But don’t blame me, I sorta, kinda, tried to warn you.”

I still can’t get over the fact that the former Governor of New Jersey who, um, allowed, the closing of lanes GW Bridge in a fit of pique was too honest, too competent and had too much integrity for Trump to offer him job in the Maladministration.

“The President is always going to continue to be his own communications director.”

Right…communicating about himself during a pandemic…his TV ratings, FB followers, his blown hair…on and on.

All told = Fake Covid Briefing…Fake Bleacher IMPeetus…Fake Covid Facts…Insane Quackery of the Trumpian Proportion!

I hear that Drumpf is inclining towards cancelling his surrogate campaign rallies (held at taxpayer expense.)

That horse has since trampled Mr. Rice’s prize roses, eaten all of his tulips, and has borrowed his cell phone to book a flight to Aruba. He leaves tomorrow.

Does Christie still think he’ll get a job, or that he’ll have any kind of GOP future at all? Does he still think the GOP has a future?

If we nominate Donald Trump we will get destroyed…and we will deserve it.

I was going to write a clever, pithy takedown but realized “Why bother?” this is depth charging the fish in a barrel.

Guess Christie has been asleep for the last 4 weeks. I’ve lost count and don’t follow. Thanks for the timely message.

It must really be a huge embarrassment to stand behind tRump (literally and figuratively) for most of his time in office and then suddenly find yourself in such a despised position with most Americans that look upon you as another one of tRump’s general lackeys or part of the tRump Fan Club. These are the people who more often than not been there to enable his worst instincts from the beginning. They now can see how their support casts a shadow on their own complicity. So Yeah, Fuck You, Christie. He couldn’t get through to tRump then, and he won’t be able to get through to him now. No one can.

tRump makes his own unintelligible decisions and generally says stupid shit based on the last person he’s talked to. I would have to say Christie is not that person. Nor are most people in tRump’s limited orbit.

Btw, the new governor from NJ, a democrat, is doing a far better job than Christie did throughout his years in office to lead during a time of crisis. That right there, says it all. If Christie was still governor, NJ would be in even worse shape today.
