Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Sunday issued a blistering rebuke of President Trump and his legal team by calling out their flailing attempts to contest the election results even after the Supreme Court rejected Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s (R) lawsuit suing four swing states that President-elect Joe Biden won.

Finally, after four years of being Trump’s obsequious toady, Chris Christie puts two and two together and figures out that serving the orange one wasn’t such as great idea after all.
Trump has completed the transformation of the GOP into The Fascist Party.
They don’t care that he was the worst president of any democracy anywhere–because they hate democracy.
They want a Leader who can dupe the masses into thinking that what the oligarchs are ordering is what “they” the people want too.
Trump did that for many. but not all. And some GOPers are pushing back, although alas, far too few.
Everyone’s clamoring for a republican to speak up and condemn what the loser is doing. Here’s what it look like, but until people like House Minority Leader McCarthy and others who are elected officials what Christie says doesn’t matter. It’s news for a slow Sunday.

Chris Christie came off of an ICU bed after Trump infected him w/COVID to help prepare Trump for the final Presidential debate. Trump took Christie’s cues on tone (for the first 25 minutes at least) and sold the media on another regurgitation of the ‘new tone Trump’ argument. Christie is not a good person. He’s also a weak person. He should shut up. I need to see more Democratic backbenchers on these shows berating the GOP and the media for catering to this nonsense. We don’t need to have GOP validation from bad faith pols like Christie.
