Charlie Kirk’s Show Is Now the Trump Admin’s Forum for Detailing How It Wants To Target the Left

Those vertical headings (the verticals have a name – hotdogs? whatever) are “cute.” Yes, I mean that as an insult. I’ll get used to the new layout (mit details), but why is there a new one, or why this one? Madison Ave. changes ads just to keep people’s attention. So, okay, TPM may need to play those games, too. But I don’t see how these changes improve anything. They are just changes.

For some weeks now, David Kurtz’s Morning Memo has been relatively thin. Okay, he said he’d be focusing on legal issues, but even there, his reports are pretty perfunctory. Meanwhile, the evenings’s Where Things Stand has gone from a report about one topic to something closer to what Morning Memo used to be.

We’ll see how all this works out. It would maybe be (maybe would have been) a good idea for Josh et al. to offer some explanation, an alert. News sources usually do that out of respect for their readers.

I’m willing to be referred to as “the left” as long as we refer to rethugs as “the radical fascist right.”

Do I have any support here?

Appropriate. Extract. It’s the Trump Two-Step.

Pretty much any pretense for appropriation will work. Back in the old days you had to invent hard-to-understand excuses like “aluminum tubes” for a hydrocarbon war, but today just say “drugs”. Venezuela has approximately 303–304 billion barrels of proven oil reserves, which is more than any other country, including Saudi Arabia.

The Venezuelan government, Guerra told us, has little incentive to engage in a risky, complex operation like drug trafficking when the country sits on the largest oil reserves in the world: “How many tons of drug would the Venezuelan government have to export to make the same amount of money it makes selling hundreds of thousands of barrels per day?” he asked us. “That’s just a tale.” Venezuela’s oil exports averaged 1.09 million barrels a day in September, the highest monthly level since February 2020. To make that kind of money selling drugs, you would probably need more than a few peñeros.

At their origins, MAGAts had a desire to hate and play the victim. Trump incentivized it and sought to unleash it. His understudies, including JD Vance, followed his example. The MAGA leaders of the nation choose to stoke division in the country.

Charlie Kirk Show

This is sort of like the Iraq War, right? Blame for a tragedy is falsely laid at the feet of your enemy so you can feign moral justification in attacking them.

Some call it politics, but it’s nothing more than criminal types playing the con to all the slow thinkers out in America, young men and women who can’t handle more than one divergent thought/idea at the same time. Maybe they all fade back into their dysfunctional lives once Trump strokes out. But God, they are annoying. And soooo easily led. Because they want to be led. Kinda like the Let Go, Let God crowd. Meanwhile, the rest of us are ready and willing to take responsibility for our oun actions. And do, everyday. What a shitshow. And BTW, new TPM format kinda boring. Whatever.

And BTW II, WTF is a SC justice (a gleeful Catholic woman) doing, going on Fox News? To explain what she feels the Supremes don’t have to explain?

Well, yes. Why not capture another piece of the media puzzle and stitch that bandwidth to the other pieces like FOX, Xitter, Truth, Newsmax, Real America, RW radio, Sinclair TV stations, etc.

Force all the others to kneel and/or decapitate their orgs.

It’s paying big dividends

Another long wait for MM.

Yeah, I been wondering, too…the new layout doesn’t feel “clean” so much as it feels “stark” to me.

I do, however, like the vertical headings and the ability to jump to that collected section.

Calling them “men” denigrates the rest of us. Let’s go with *“Pitiful Boys” - if they can be proud of how pitiful they are, we’ll let them keep the base label…
