Castro behaved like a dick. I am not interested in electing another dick to the White House. Furthermore, he smirks. Worst of all, this attack displayed poor judgment and desperation . Until yesterday, Castro was number two in my top 5. Now he’s at the bottom along with Sanders, Gabbard, Williamson, and Delaney. That was just ugly, ugly behavior.

Well, this gets to the actual ageism argument which I happen to also agree with. I’m middle aged and cant imagine having the energy and focus at my age to do this job. There are other considerations as well. Does Biden use a computer? Having assisted people at his age I am going to guess that he is at best barely computer literate. How about Pete? I’ll be he uses a computer every day as Mayor and is very proficient and more efficient as a result. These things matter. I could not do my job without a PC. If I were the president, I would certainly need one as a tool to be as effective as I could be. Sounds minor and people will say that the presidents staff will do that work and the president just deliberated and decides. I think that’s BS.

I think that’s exactly right. My father is 91, had a stroke, but was just recently explaining the difference between voluble and affable to my daughter, and still reads voraciously and closely. His mind is sharp. Biden, 15 years younger, seems older mentally.

I feel for people like your dad, my brother-in-law just went through a similar situation.
Though being in one’s 60’s is a whole lot different (and preferable) than to being Biden’s age.
I know that I’m being ageist, and I have said it before, but I do not wish for a president who will be turning 80 years old during his first term. I wish Biden were younger. But since that’s not a possibility, I want one of the younger talented candidates to become the nominee…which clearly (if it wasn’t clear already) won’t be Castro.

I completely agree that Biden is too old. I feel the same way about Bernie. I’ve been tarred around here as ageist for stating as much and that’s fine, I can take it. Neither one is my first, second, or third choice. And I completely agree that Warren, who just turned 70 in June, is in a far different category of sharpness and wit. I love her!
Last night, on an internationally televised debate was not the time for Castro to voice his concerns about Biden’s age.
Shithead is going to attack, smear, lie about whoever is our nominee. Castro didn’t need to provide the soundbite.
