In the United States people with JD degrees are not referred to as Dr. but in some countries they are. I once had a foreign national client who called me Dr. My niece was called Dr the first time she showed up for training in a hospital setting. That seemed like years before she got her MD degree.
i have told drs. and other medical people to get the hell away from me..and don’t touch me… when i was in hospital for whatever..i found they are more afraid of patients complaints than of being criticized by their peers.
