Off topic but worth repeating to show how committed, if that is the right word, the Republican rank are to Donald Trump.
After it was clear to every person on earth with any comprehension of reality that Trump lost the 2020 election, gaming houses saw a big surge in people betting real money on Donald Trump winning. One of the gaming house said “it was like taking candy from babies who deserved their candy to be taken”.
So I guess that is a way to look at this fight between Republicans and Trump, who gets to steal candy from babies.

Let him sue his friends, because the rest of us are going to use his likeness in many, many, ways that he won’t like, some of them obscene, and there isn’t a damn thing he can do about it.
The GOP could have permanently sidelined him, but then they would have had to actually come up with an agenda and, heaven forbid, plans to show voters that they do have a vision and a mission.
Obviously it was much easier to be out of power with Trump, rather than out of power AND fighting a new Trump 3rd Party. For all the Christianists they have, I guess nobody remembers that old reap what you sow line…
UK scientists have discovered a key inflammatory protein that rises in the blood of patients with severe Covid-19.
The protein - known as GM-CSF - was found to be nearly 10 times higher in patients who went on to die from the virus.
Scientists say that with further research, the protein could help identify those most at risk and provide clues for better targeted treatments for the disease.
