The Justice Department Erases History; Lawfare Restores It
Last week, the Justice Department deleted thousands of press releases related to the Jan. 6 insurrection and other matters. Here they are.
You are far too modest. It also survived you!
Heh, true, though my big brother was definitely the more deliberately destructive. It survived him.
Trump and the Lakers,
.
While driving a Honda Fit? Was the Bro dozer in the shop?
According to the latest Consumer Price Index, tomato prices have surged by approximately 40% over the past year. Reasons: weather, Iran war and higher gas/shipping prices, and Trumpâs new 17% tariff on Mexican tomatoes.
And CF-DJTâs response would be: âIf you want tomatoes, have your gardener plant them.â
The $1.8 Billion Question Trump Doesnât Want Answered
Think about this for a second.
The federal government is tens of trillions in debt.
Americans are drowning under housing costs.
Families are struggling to buy groceries.
And suddenlyâŚ
Nearly $1.8 billion appears.
Not for veterans.
Not for disaster victims.
Not for schools.
Not for infrastructure.
But for a vaguely defined compensation program overseen by a structure heavily influenced by Trumpâs own administration.
Then Came The Judges
And this is where the story takes an even darker turn.
The group of former federal judges filed a motion arguing that the court itselfâŚmay have been deceived.
Not mistaken.
Not confused.
Deceived.
They argue that Trumpâs legal teamâŚmoved to dismiss the caseâŚwithout informing the court that a massive settlement arrangement was effectively waiting in the wings.
The court order closing the case explicitly noted there was âno settlement of record.â
If billions of taxpayer dollars were about to be committedâŚ
Why wasnât the court told?
If negotiations had already occurredâŚ
Why wasnât the court told?
Those arenât partisan questions.
Those are judicial questions.
And they go directly to the integrity of the judicial system.
Imagine they discover a new formula.
Step One:
Sue your own government.
Step Two:
Negotiate with officials who work for you.
Step Three:
Drop the lawsuit.
Step Four:
Create a giant taxpayer-funded compensation pool controlled by your allies.
Step Five:
Direct benefits toward your political ecosystem.
Would that be acceptable?
Would anyone defend it?
Would anyone pretend thatâs normal?
So, is this fighting ring crap at the formerly beautiful White House gonna be permanent?
Let us not forgetâŚ
Everything trump touches diesâŚ
Iâve been wondering since yesterday about the significance of a Volvo sedan, up on blocks in the back yard of a house I looked at about 25 years ago. A Volvo seemed a bit odd for Midland.
I asked the realtor if the car was included if I bought the house. She seemed to think that was an odd question . . .
Physical shrimps, all of them. Little wonder they hate the world at large.

I rather like El Comino. Lime Green would be preferred.
