In his tell-all memoir finally set for publication later this month, former Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton alleges that House Democrats failed to look at other transgressions made by the president that went beyond the scope of Ukraine during their impeachment inquiries last year.
Let’s not ever forget, this is John Bolton and his version of events.
In other news (that hasn’t been covered here but should be), Trump and Pompeo are threatening to sanction the judges of the International Criminal Court for daring to investigate the United States for war crimes in Afghanistan. We’re steadily ticking off the Rogue Regime checklist.
In retrospect, “Impeachment Malpractice” as alleged, could have possibly been avoided if someone with crucial information on Donnie’s varied transgressions had actually presented that information in a timely manner, like a true patriot.
Rather than someone trying to cash in on that knowledge by writing a book about it.
Well, fuck him with Trump’s tiny dick. Bolton had plenty of opportunity and ability to get involved and provide information to the House Democrats and the nation. Poor old whining Bolton thought he had finally grabbed the gold ring when Trump invited him on board and he was going to use the position to push his agenda, only to find out, as so many other dignity wraiths have, that he would be used for just as long as Trump found him useful and then pushed overboard. I’m sure he’ll make a buttload of money off his book, but his legacy as far as anything important and long-lasting is concerned? Deep-sixed by his own hubris.
You know what would have helped to bring this to light? Bolton testifying to Congress about the topic. He could have written up a summary in his opening remarks, and that would have driven the investigation down several new paths (which happened as they did the interviews). It’s pretty silly for him to blame the Democrats when he had the chance to help the process.
Fuck right the fuck off, Walrus Man. You could have spilled your guts at any time, not just waited to cash in with a book that no sane person should purchase.
