Thank you. I was slow to respond not because I am leaving TPM but because I spent half of yesterday and most of today with my daughterâs family. This afternoon I watched 12 and Under and 10 and Under soccer games. Children are playing even better soccer than when my children were that young, when there was no comparison to my youth or my brotherâs. And they were just having fun playing and hanging out with their friends. Salve for the soul.

I think Iâve seen the same thing, starting with our children (20-30 years ago). Generally a good development.

This is how low America has sunk. Apparently, telling us by their actions, this is the Chuck Grassley and US Department of Justice idea of America. And 40% of the voters are OK with it. I guess weâll have to capstone Chuck Grassleyâs career with an impeachment. And a well deserved one at that. Perhaps it will prevent his spawn from inflicting further damage

So the stories, real or not, are reaching his peer level and they believe them. It was so much easier to ignore when it was just the little people whispering about his foibles.
