Long time before a trial concludes and no guaranteeing they are going to be found guilty, but at least they are indicted and will face a jury.
This was a tragic and senseless death of a young man just walking home from the store.

Don’t know what that material is, but it is apparently reflective and would help to reduce the temperature of the structure. A metal foil would also help to prevent ignition via embers. It’s probably better than nothing.

And maybe they’re coming in disguise, like, as immigrants. I wonder if she thought of that?
And why does God have to dispatch them from Africa anyway? Does he store them there? Or maybe they’re all busy doing something there?

Sure it’s better than nothing, but it only delays the inevitable. Put a baked potato wrapped in foil in the oven for four hours at 400 degrees F.
Wrap a piece of ply wood in foil and repeat the experiment (actually, don’t. You’ll have a nasty kitchen fire on your hands).
Fire isn’t just flame, it’s heat. When the burn point hits, flames come out of the wood work.

I think this hasn’t been proven (yet). She is on the board of at least one entity that financed busses, but direct evidence of her explicit financing of this particular bit of odiousness is lacking.(^)
She is, however, a deeply unethical cancer on our body politic.
^ all the articles about this are from the week after the insurrection. Given the news this week that trump affiliated groups have continued to Pay the organizers of the Jan 6 rally, it’s a bit odd that there haven’t been more “follow the money” stories about things like funding busses and hotel rooms

In that video, Missy Elliot wears a Canadian Olympic team windbreaker. She was interviewed on MuchMusic (Canadian music video channel) and asked about it.
She said something along the lines of *I love the Canadian story, the Underground Railroad and that, there’s good people here. Good white people too. A white guy gave me the jacket because I was impressed with everyone. It sat in my closet for a time, but the day of the video shoot, I said I ma gonna give back and wore it”.
I am furiously searching youtube to back this up. But I remember the interview clear as day.
