Well, Richard Neal appears to be on the Manchin/Sinema train as far as the billionaire tax goes. Yes, pity the poor billionaire who will still be a billionaire after having the tax applied. I’m sure Neal’s attitude about this is completely unrelated to his refusal to recognize the black letter law that allows congress to obtain anyone’s tax return, too. Just a coincidence, you know.

I appreciate the encouragement of independent thought that allows dems to come up with different ways of accomplishing the progressive agenda that dems openly run on as a party. I don’t appreciate flat out obstruction of that agenda, and I would say that is very different from independent thinking.

Would do nothing.

Elon Musk declined his $56K “salary” (CA minimum wage laws).

Dildo Rocketman earned $81K from his CEO job at some online bookstore.

Adjusting their income taxes would not only do nothing, but both of them qualify for the full BernieBucks™ child tax credits from the Dems!

Going to take some innovative changes to tax codes when all the uber-wealthy have figured out how to minimize or entirely eliminate their “income”.

Biden’s departure is not creeping closer. The departure time is approaching at the same pace as everything else is, modulo relativistic time considerations when approaching the speed of light which are negligible in this instance.
