Biden To Trump Refusing Peaceful Power Transition: ‘What Country Are We In?’ | Talking Points Memo

Fox took it to court and won. The corporation’s right to free speech includes lying.

Let’s see the reaction if Trump told the military every one of their ballots had to be notarized, the ballot signatures had to perfectly match that on record with the precinct records, ballots wouldn’t count if received after election day, and any misspellings, missing or extra punctuation, improper capitalizations, smudges, tears or inconsequential alterations voided their ballots. Oh, also your records will be searched for overdue fines, fees, unpaid judgments, tax liens or outstanding civil settlements.

In other words treat everyone in the military like a recently released felon.

Yes. That is the fanciful plan that the Trump lawyer started floating about how they are going to convince state legislators to overturn election results and appoint electors to vote for Trump. Inherent in the plan is declaring ALL the elections invalid, and thus tossing out not just republican votes, but tossing out republican candidate’s wins. So Donald can soothe himself.

I havent seen Trump follow through, or be successfull, at much.

He won’t fade quietly into the night, that’s true.

But the shelf life of failed politicans is not very long. Sarah Palin is a great example of the path Trump will follow. His inane tweets will garner shock headlines for a few months, possibly a year, but eventually…the world and the press move on.

Personally, I wish it would go otherwise, because as much as I would like him to suffer through the “Blood Eagle” Viking torture, depriving him of attention probably would cause him even more suffering.

I predict Biden will come out with a more direct response to Trump’s announcement yesterday he wants to steal the election by not counting votes.

All news reporters also should track down all GOP senators and ask them why they want to impose a new “justice” on the Court for Trump, who has announced he needs her to rubberstamp his coup d’etat.

The media will follow Trump so long as he is on trial or in legal jeopardy for his many crimes and treason. It could take years.

Well, Mittens and Ms Lindsey have reassured the hell out of me. I was getting nervous, but knowing this duo of jello moulds is on watch really puts me at ease.

It’s not just SDNY, it includes the NYAG and Manhattan DA. He knows he will be visiting the slam when he loses.

Graham stated on Brian Kilmeade’s radio show this morning he will accept an election loss by Trump, conditioned on that loss being reviewed by SCOTUS.

So Trump really only has to worry about nine ballots cast in the entire election.

SCOTUS isn’t going to review anything about the election.

You have to understand that while Trump will be continuously airing his grievances and demanding attention…other actual politicians will be working much harder for attention, and, given that they are actually in office and have power, will get it.

Gore likely entered the 2000 contest dismissing the same possibility.
