President-elect Joe Biden and his transition team are reportedly already making plans to ensure that the White House, which has been plagued with a series of COVID-19 infections thanks to President Donald Trump’s disregard for protective measures against the virus, is safe enough for the 78-year-old Biden to move in come January 20.
According to Politico, Biden’s transition team will have the White House fully cleaned by General Services Administration (GSA) staffers hours after Trump leaves the building.
Well, that covers DC. Now, what about the 50 States?

Oh, wait till Mr. Stupid hears this, just going to make his day.
And, to be extra tricky, he’ll probably say he’s going to Mar la Gogo for good then decide he has to come back one more time because he left his toothbrush.
Make sure you look for rat droppings and fleas too.
Trump will have his people lick the doorknobs on their way out.
Well, by then the worst infestation will have left. But a good idea, anyway.

I think they should disinfect the entire structure simply to rid it of the stench of quarter pounders and fries.
It’s going to take a long time to get the stink out.

This is pretty silly from an infection control perspective.

Will he crawl out of the WH in the dead of night so no one sees him or stages a big party with the helicopter landing, band playing and looking ever so proud of himself?
Or they could save everyone a lot of effort and cost and just let the White House sit empty for a day before they move in.
