The director of finance doesn’t fund the campaign. He coordinates the funding, which is not remotely the same thing. The donation limits remain the same—$2800 max per single donor, and twice that for couples.
Again, getting donations doesn’t equal doing with the donor wants you to do.
Biden doesn’t promise anything but to replace Trump and his rich people with another set of establishment rich people.
This is both-siderism ad absurdum. A Biden presidency would look so different from a Trump presidency that you wouldn’t know the two were in the same category, even if Joe takes the full-on Dem establishment route.

For most of 2016, “caring about the economy” was derided as a “purity test” by Clinton fans. Her indifference likely cost her the election and left us where we are today.
