Originally published at: Biden Granting Clemency To Lots Of People Is A Good Thing — It Should Be Just The Start
Hello, it’s the weekend. This is The Weekender President Joe Biden granted clemency to around 1,500 people this week, and pardoned 39 more. Overall, this is a good thing (setting aside that some of those granted mercy don’t particularly seem to deserve it). Presidents have broad powers in this area, and most are too…
Biden selling clemency and pardons just like Clinton and Trump to hard core criminals who deserved every day and more of the sentence they were given is despicable. No better than Trump. Add this to Biden’s genocide support and this explains exactly why the democrats are in deep dodo.
Whoa! That is quite a conversation starter of a comment!
Extinction is worse than disarray?
You know, reality is a thing. You should try getting a grip on it sometime.
“…selling”
Evidence?
It’s in Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Trump mad he’s not going to ride on his new AF1
If Biden was a more able communicator, rather than lying about his intentions
I have to take issue with this. If Harris had won the election, I don’t think Biden would have felt the need to pardon his son. I think he changed his mind based on the election outcome and what he saw coming.
Put down the crack pipe, too early in the day for that.
In a haha normal environment there would be no need for a Hunter pardon. In the not quite set Jello of TSF’s brain, Hunter got him impeached and the absolute destruction of Hunter would be a prime directive of the coming madness. Incarceration and Epsteining are would be a very real outcome.
President Biden needs to ask himself, what would Trump do and then do that. Sit back and watch the Republicans howl that, that’s not fair and illegal, blah, blah, blah (though if Trump did the same, it would be crickets)
I really don’t understand why he pardoned that woman who stole 54 million from the little town she worked in.
At least AF1 will still be in the tasteful Robin egg blue rather than the sick fuck’s garish and tacky color choices.
He commuted her sentence. That is not the same thing as a pardon, and it does not change the fact of conviction, imply innocence, or remove civil disabilities that apply to the convicted person as a result of the criminal conviction.
I don’t suppose she has to give the money back.
I’m sorry, I think you confused your Rumble account with TPM.
But selling? I think the pay for kids judges got this as a freebee.
Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy was the best. Too bad Melania tore up and destroyed her nice rose garden, too.
I have a real problem with President Biden commuting the sentence of the judge who sent juvenile defendants to a for-profit prison.
Outside of the 19-year jail sentence, I’m not sure what payback she might have been ordered to do.
