Biden Campaign Workers Sue ‘Trump Train’ Members For Swarming Bus On TX Highway | Talking Points Memo

Is it just me, or would “Shut the f-ck up, Stephen” make a great t-shirt?

That whole bunch of insanity was beyond stupid and the perpetrators would deserve what ever consequences might befall them …but rather than something physical - just hope the lawsuit slams them hard .

One serious question - why were they not arrested for vehicular assault?

Has a definite Walter Sobchak quality to it.

O Dear. More of Fat Donnie’s supporters’ legal fees to pay. Yup. Right after he pays Rudy.

Because the texas police made sure they saw nothing.

There are so many Stephens who would not realize that you meant Herr Miller.

If they win, does the bus driver get damages too?

Hey! The defendants are my neighbors. Seriously, I live in one of the counties where the bus was run off the road. Our Republican run county goverment is fine with the way things are.

I live near some evil shitheads too. One of my neighbors likes to advertise what a fascist piece of shit he is by continuing to adorn his front door with a “tRump 2020” banner. We like to let our dogs shit on his lawn.

Good - sue them all. That might be the only language they understand

“In their complaint, the plaintiffs recalled that Trump supporters “terrorized and menaced the driver and passengers on the Biden-Harris Campaign’s bus” for at least 90 minutes…”

Terrorizing and menacing are now 1st amendment prerogatives. All you have to do is pay a $500 fine, read some Maya Angelou and Toni Morrison, and all is forgiven.

Can we assume the word “settlement” will come into play long before anything gets to court? Seems as if there’s no defending themselves in this one, but if they try, it will take somersaults and legal loop-de-loops of the most outrageous kind to pose any of this as “patriotic” which is what they think.
This won’t even make it to the first civil trial, let alone the Supreme Court.
Gotta wonder if their auto insurance covers this sort of mischief?
“Damage done in the act of sedition” might have an escape clause.
Anyone who doesn’t connect the sedition of January 6 with those acts of political partisan terrorism is probably one of them.

I lived in Dallas/Ft. Worth back when they put the bypass north of the city in 78 and they left the lane markers off for a week or two due to some snafu…
PURE CHAOS!!!
Texans need guidelines, give them chaos and they will embrace it.
Anyone daring enough to brave that highway for those two weeks got a lesson in Yee Haw auto driving.
I had a two-door Lemans, with a 350. Got to pretend it was a GTO!
